So I just stumbled upon this band on YouTube, simply titled Vegan! On their MySpace page, this is how they describe themselves:
We are Vegan!
A band with genre "Powerpop 8-Bit"
We were started from our friendship at one of Jakarta's art institute called IKJ.
We formed on July 7th, 2008.
"Vegan", it similar with people who loves fruits and vegetables or we known as vegetarian.
We also know that everyone loves and needs fruits & vegetables.
Due to of it, we hope everyone loves our musics as well as they love fruits and vegetables.
With music we're invite you guys to have a positive life style.
Yes! A band based on the love of fruits and vegetables... and they are from Indonesia, the birthplace of tempeh.... too cool. Hopefully they play the States soon.
