So the other day I was picking up so beautiful tomatoes from Green Grocer in Chicago and I noticed a brand of veggie burger that I had never tried before, Luna Burger. So I grabbed the classic flavor and some sprouts and headed out the door... I paid for them first of course. All I can say is wow.
They are oil-free and only contain 2 grams of fat and 160 calories per patty with a modest sodium amount. Is this really happening?
And they are huge!
I put one on whole wheat with lemon basil aioli (vegenaise with fresh lemon peel and basil) with a sprout mix and those wonderful tomatoes. This is a fabulous veggie burger!
These are available in select grocers throughout and around the Midwest (they are based on Columbus, OH) or you can order them right from Luna Burger. Get on it cause these are dog gone amazing.
