Our good friends at Enjoy Life have done it again. Not only do they make wonderful chocolate chips, cookies and granola but now they now are making chewy bars! The Cocoa Loco is the only one that is 100 % vegan and it is wheat, gluten, peanut, tree nut, and soy free…yet packed with a chocolate punch!

As us bar eaters know, Clif bars are super addictive! I can buy a box and it is magically gone with 24 hours. I can’t help it. They rock. Now they have a new line of fruit and nuts bars! Kit’s organic bars come in berry almond, cashew and peanut butter. Kit Crawford is the CO-Owner of the Clif Bar Company and is passionate about organic farming and simple yet tasty treats. She nailed it here! I suggest the peanut and cashew bars. Yum!
I love a good veggie burger every now and then and sometimes…I’m just a wee to sleepy to make some. I found a few that I really liked. Hillary’s Eat Well is gluten free and a verified non-gmo company that makes some really delightful treats.
They have a veggie burger made from millet, quinoa and spices, an adzuki bean burger that is amazing, a hemp and greens burger packed with organic greens and hemp seeds, and finally the veggie bites. I have not had the pleasure of eating theses bites, but they sure look great. Check out the website!
The last food find is the fresh Aronia berries from Wisconsin. These berries are also called chokeberries (no they don’t kill you). They got this name because they create a sensation of making your mouth pucker.

These berries can be eaten raw (it is a bit odd) but are usually made into wine, jam, syrup, juice, tea, salsas, extracts, beer and ice cream. They can also be found in red, black and purple colors. They contain a great deal of Vitamin C. I have never seen these berries before so I suggest if you see them, get em!
