Coconut Oil Pulling
If you tend to follow fad trends, the latest health gossip, or Gwyneth Paltrow, you’ve probably heard of oil pulling. If you’re like the rest of us, you’re clueless about what the term means and are highly unlikely to guess that it’s slurping a scoop of coconut oil into your mouth and swishing it around for 20 minutes. Well, that’s what it is and, yes, it’s just as bizarre as it sounds.

Oil pulling is an ancient remedy for tooth and gum problems. If you do it every day for 20 minutes at a time, it’s apparently supposed to whiten your teeth and strengthen and nourish your gums. Apparently it’s all the rage in Hollywood and, as of now, the Native Foods Home Office. We’re not certain how effective it is at this point, but for now, it’s a silly bonding ritual that’s made some of the guys in the office think the ladies are crazy.
